2-bit Cowboy is recently popular, fresh action game developed by Cascadia Games. If you loved pixelated, Gameboy-styled graphics, the iOS game would meet your taste. Let’s keep checking the review.
2-bit Cowboy sports a unique green-tone, 8-bit game graphics to pay tribute to Gameboy, the classic handheld game console. The action game is set in the Wild West. You, the sheriff must utilize his/her gun to rule the land full of bloody crimes. As a plat forming game, 2-bit Cowboy features 12 well-crafted levels that let you explore from the ground, underground to the sky, and lots of objects can be destroyed such as buckets, boxes, bottles and etc. Of course, you also need to fight against bad guys and fierce beasts with your gun along the way to the exit, and discover hidden coins, moreover, the sheriff can ride horse or bull for improving his/her abilities. Using coins you can purchase hats, masks, bandanas and more to customize your hero.
The platforming action game has a very nice D-pad control layer. The direction buttons and two firing buttons are reflectively arranged the left and the right corners, but you still can control your sheriff via roughly touching the right or left side of the screen.
2-bit Cowboy is a very nice 8-bit platforming game. If you can accept its monochrome graphics and a bit monotonous music, the iOS game should catch your eyes. 2-bit Cowboy is priced at $0.99. If you’re interested, jump to App Store for more details.
