Devil Shard is designed for both iPhone and iPad. Similar with their Tower of Fortune and War of Eclipse, the iOS game sports old-school 8-bit game graphics, but unlike their slot-machine-styled gameplay, Devil Shard is a RPG integrated match 3 game. The game is set in an unknown kingdom where the emperor has traded his soul to devil. To save the kingdom, you, as the hero must fight against his forces and evil alliances, and defeating the emperor.
The gameplay of Devil Shard is pretty clear. There are four kinds of tiles in the board, including sword, shield, bottle, and demon head. Each kind of tile has different function, sword for attacking foes, shield for enhancing armor, bottle for healing your hero, while demon head will result in attacks from demons, so you need to make three or more same sword, bottle, shield tiles in one row and avoid creation a demon head match 3.
As with every victory, your hero can get coins, experience and item, so your hero is upgradable, and the hero can equip various advanced weapon and armor. Using coins you can unlock more slots for equipping more items, and forge feature enhances your items, while those same items can be melt for coins. Moreover, the puzzle game sports a unique keeper system that contains 9 powerful keepers to help you in battles. You can unlock them via completing specific missions.
